What is now EcoWater Systems, Inc. had its beginning in 1925 when Lynn G. Lindsay received his first patent on valves for the automatic control of water conditioners. In the beginning the company was known as the Lindsay Co. and has grown to the largest manufacturer of residential water equipment in the world. In 1983 the company purchased the Water Refining Co. of Ohio and its two well respected brand names, Miracle Water and Servisoft. EcoWater Systems, Inc. was established in 1988 to encompass all brands under one name.

Century EcoWater Systems is located at 1323 9th Street, Monroe, WI. Our building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was originally Freitags's Pure Oil Service Station.
